This is an opportunity to relocate to Melbourne to work in an exciting govt department. The role will involve being sponsored to receive TS PV

The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Designing and maintaining the Software (including firmware) elements of the Electronic Architecture (EA) across all programs,
  • Support the System Safety team by leading implementation of Software Safety.
  • Supporting the integration of Software (including firmware) from internal and external suppliers (including Approved Subcontractors) into System Integration Laboratory (SIL).
  • Supporting systems-security engineering for the program, in conjunction with platform cyber security team.
  • Work with all contributing parties, including our subcontractors, to ensure the quality of all deliverables and exchanges with potential subcontractors are exceptional.


The Candidate:

Essential criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years in similar role.
  • Experience in Defence sector.
  • Security Clearance: Baseline or NV1 preferred
  • Works Cooperatively with teams and individuals.
  • Communicates well.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Organised. Proactive. Analytical. Process orientated. Focussed. Disciplined.

The Logistics Analysts will undertake the ILS analyses both internally and across the broader team, as well as working with stakeholders. The Logistics Analysts will be required to work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders, subcontractors and customer base.

The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Undertake work in the development and maintenance of Logistics  Analyses models.
  • Assemble technical data required to populate the LSAR and maintain the LSAR as new data is available.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the Approved Subcontractors on the development of Logistic Analyses outputs.
  • Support platform design activities.
  • Work with all a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality of all deliverables and exchanges with potential customer and subcontractors are exceptional.

In this role as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist you will work within a team who have responsibility for the planning, identification, and development of all the support system requirements for complex Land military systems. This includes ensuring all ILS deliverables are conducted in accordance with the contract. The ILS will be required to work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders, subcontractors and the client’s customer base

The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide ILS support to the ILS Lead for the development and documentation of the Support System for the project.
  • Provide support to the ILS Lead for the provision of Support Services for the project.
  • Develop Logistic Analyses models for the complete required capability.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the client’s Approved Subcontractors on the development of Logistic Analyses outputs for the Hull/Chassis, Turret, and other capability subsystems.
  • Work with all contributing parties, including our subcontractors, to ensure the quality of all deliverables and exchanges with potential subcontractors are exceptional.

  • Work as part of the AIC team to ensure the updated AIC plan and all required annexes are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Support the reviewing of contract documents to ensure all AIC considerations are planned, addressed and captured. This role will require extensive collaboration with a number of suppliers and subcontractors. A focus on analysis.
  • Consistent with HDA’s Industrial Development and AIC strategies, plan, coordinate and manage AIC program activities (including the preparation of deliverables and transfer of technology).
  • Support the AIC Manager with planning, material development and facilitation of customer facing meetings, workshops and other activities relevant to LAND8116 PMF.
  • Supporting industry partners and suppliers with their Australian industrial participation and localisation strategies, including facilitating introductions among supply chain members and candidates, planning and executing Approach to Market strategies and activities and consolidating responses into formal deliverables and reports.
