Shape the development and execution of commercial constructs for the Enterprise while actively participating in effective procurement strategies. Provide proficient contract administration services, enhance staff skills in contract management, and contribute to contract-related reporting and planning tasks. Offer expert advice in technology control compliance, ensuring strict adherence to export control regulations. Foster collaborative engagement, offering comprehensive support to tasks mandated by the Commonwealth and ensuring the effective execution of initiatives

The Candidate:
Essential criteria

  • Relevant qualifications in procurement, business administration, or related fields
  • Proven record in delivering strategic business advice and procurement support.
  • In-depth understanding of procurement methodologies, contracting options, and tender development.
  • Adept contract administration skills and experience in technology and export control compliance are advantageous.

In this role as an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist you will work within a team who have responsibility for the planning, identification, and development of all the support system requirements for complex Land military systems. This includes ensuring all ILS deliverables are conducted in accordance with the contract. The ILS will be required to work collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders, subcontractors and the client’s customer base

The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Provide ILS support to the ILS Lead for the development and documentation of the Support System for the project.
  • Provide support to the ILS Lead for the provision of Support Services for the project.
  • Develop Logistic Analyses models for the complete required capability.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the client’s Approved Subcontractors on the development of Logistic Analyses outputs for the Hull/Chassis, Turret, and other capability subsystems.
  • Work with all contributing parties, including our subcontractors, to ensure the quality of all deliverables and exchanges with potential subcontractors are exceptional.

The Candidate:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in similar role.
  • Experience in Defence sector.
  • Security Clearance: Baseline or NV1 preferred.

The Role:

  • Undertake work in the development and maintenance of Logistics  Analyses models.
  • Assemble technical data required to populate the LSAR and maintain the LSAR as new data is available.
  • Provide guidance and advice to the Approved Subcontractors on the development of Logistic Analyses outputs.
  • Support platform design activities.
  • Work with all a range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality of all deliverables and exchanges with potential customer and subcontractors are exceptional.

A car dealership located in East Melbourne. Our client is a dynamic company with great company culture, providing a wonderful working experience for their employees.

The Position
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Used Car Buyer / Valuer. As the primary source for used car vehicle stock, you will collaborate with the sales management team to optimize the stock mix and purchases for a high turnover and profitable inventory. Sourcing stock from a diverse network of channels is a key aspect of this role. A minimum of 20 retail used vehicle purchases per month, with guidance and approval from the Head of Vehicle Sales and Buying, is expected. Additionally, the Used Car Buyer/Valuer will support the sales department by occasionally selling retail motor vehicles on-site. Flexibility to assist in various business activities when other team members are absent is also required. A 5-day week with a rostered Saturday, where a Saturday is worked an RDO is provided.

The Role
The role includes (but not limited to):

  • Purchase a minimum of 20 retail used vehicles per month in collaboration with the Head of Vehicle Sales and Buying, while adhering to company targets and objectives.
  • Source vehicles from a diverse range of channels and suppliers.
  • Negotiate with private sellers, suppliers, and dealers to secure competitive prices for the vehicles.
  • Evaluate the condition of the vehicles and determine their market value based on relevant data and inspection reports.
  • Ensure all vehicle purchases are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support the sales department by occasionally selling retail motor vehicles onsite.
  • Assist in other areas of the business when required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

The Candidate 
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated success in a Used Car Buying/Valuer role.
  • Strong customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Solid business acumen, including strategic and operational planning.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting and expense tracking.
  • Process-driven and proactive with strong initiative.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set targets.
  • Highly self-motivated, resilient, and problem-solving oriented.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Proficiency in DMS (Dealership Management System) and Google Suite.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
