The Position
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our client’s Operations Team. As the Construction Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and coordinating all aspects of a project. The Project Manager is accountable to the Operations Manager and will ensure that projects are delivered to an exceptionally high standard, they must act diligently and make considered decisions to always manage project risks. The Project Manager must deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring a safe and collaborative working environment, fulfilling client’s expectations.
The Role
The key focus areas of the role include:
- Undertake the role in accordance with the key performance outcomes expected.
- Demonstrate our client’s values in daily work practices.
- Comply with all company policies, relevant legislation, and regulations.
- Promote a collaborative work health and safety culture.
- Actively market, develop and improve the Modular Secure Enclosure product.
- Undertake business unit planning, strategy, and reporting to senior management.
- Complete tenders, submissions, budgeting and other pre contract activities in relation to the product.
- Take overall responsibility for project delivery, performance and decision making.
- Add value by providing accurate and reliable information that is well considered and can be relied on by senior
managers.
- Bring the team together to prepare for and attend monthly project health check meetings.
- Provide strong leadership and be a role model to others.
- Add value by sharing industry experiences and lessons learnt to improve the business knowledge base and
positively influence project outcomes.
- Utilise existing networks to contribute to the growth and overall success of the company.
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently continuing to act diligently making good decisions while under pressure

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Education (Building & Construction Degree / Diploma); and/or Defence Industry or relevant Product Delivery Experience.
- Industry Experience of above 3 years

- Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- Work Health & Safety Risk Management Certificate

The candidate requirements
Essential criteria:
- Proven leadership experience in Agile delivery with the ability to communicate effectively and all levels of Government.
- Proven experience applying Agile methodologies within a Government setting.
- Demonstrated experience assisting organisations to transition from traditional project and program management methodologies to Agile ways of working.
- Demonstrated experience in a government setting delivering projects within a modernisation or transformation program of work.
- Significant experience in managing and delivering 5+ programs/projects concurrently.
- Previous experience in defining and managing key performance indicators within program/project teams and delivering successful programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering high quality written communication including Executive briefings at SES levels.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering projects within a commercial construct, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Experience and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team that places a core emphasis on culture and is highly collaborative.
Desirable
- Agile or scrum certification
- Strong experience with project methodologies and tools specifically DevOps and MS Project or other industry standards. Tertiary and/or Professional Qualifications within the Project Management, Business Management or Public Administration sectors

The candidate requirements
Essential criteria:
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst working in Security Operations Centre, including detection engineering and incident response responsibilities.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in Microsoft Sentinel and Defender products, including responding to alerts and incidents and developing custom detections and analytics rules
- Demonstrated experience in working with and investigating security log from different platforms and devices
- Demonstrated experience in strengthening the maturity of a SOC.

The position reports to the Assistant Director, Server Team. In this role you will be working within the infrastructure team, to deliver positive outcomes for the day-to-day matters relating to the support of the department’s systems. The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
