The Position
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Used Car Buyer / Valuer. As the primary source for used car vehicle stock, you will collaborate with the sales management team to optimize the stock mix and purchases for a high turnover and profitable inventory. Sourcing stock from a diverse network of channels is a key aspect of this role. A minimum of 20 retail used vehicle purchases per month, with guidance and approval from the Head of Vehicle Sales and Buying, is expected. Additionally, the Used Car Buyer/Valuer will support the sales department by occasionally selling retail motor vehicles on-site. Flexibility to assist in various business activities when other team members are absent is also required. A 5-day week with a rostered Saturday, where a Saturday is worked an RDO is provided.
The Role
The role includes (but not limited to):
- Purchase a minimum of 20 retail used vehicles per month in collaboration with the Head of Vehicle Sales and Buying, while adhering to company targets and objectives.
- Source vehicles from a diverse range of channels and suppliers.
- Negotiate with private sellers, suppliers, and dealers to secure competitive prices for the vehicles.
- Evaluate the condition of the vehicles and determine their market value based on relevant data and inspection reports.
- Ensure all vehicle purchases are conducted in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support the sales department by occasionally selling retail motor vehicles onsite.
- Assist in other areas of the business when required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

The Program requires a Senior Developer to work with Business Analyst, Project Manager, and operational subject matter experts in multiple projects to modernise the existing systems. This body of work will include registration and assessment lifecycle capabilities, replacement of existing forms and develop a CRM system as a source of truth. The work also includes close consultation with architects and security advisors across the wider ICT division. The platform will be built on a cloud-based architecture, utilizing the power apps portal. You will ensure that these components and the overall application is scalable, robust, and easy to maintain. The Role:
- Substantial experience in the design and build of D365 CRM ecosystem – canvas and model driven approach.
- Experience in development and integration aspects of Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI, SharePoint, Azure) or power pages.
- Experience with front end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with web services and related integrations, I.E. RESTful APIs. Build &implement API wrappers and worked with JSON and XML.

- Hands on experience in CRM and reporting capabilities
- Administer Dynamics 365 across multiple clients

- Experience in working in an agile environment with current best practice techniques such as continuous integration and testing, and agile development
