Position : Business Development Manager Massive OTE

Location : Melbourne

The Company
A National Equipment Hire Company with branches across Australia. They are a major supplier for diesel power generator hire, sales and service with branches in Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, Queensland and New South Wales. 

The Position
This role is for a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager with a proven track record of building and developing great new business connections. You will also be responsible for overseeing several major accounts whilst ensuring the smooth and effective management of the distribution office. This is a strategic role focusing on driving maintenance of customer satisfaction across the business

  • Being on the road creating new relationships and winning new business.
  • The role will be based in their Melbourne office.
  • Find, connect with, and grow sales across major projects and with businesses.
  • Development of monthly sales forecasts/pipelines.
  • Analyse, review and recommend pricing structures for accounts
  • Help our valued customers understand our points of difference, and extensive range of Generator Hire solutions. 
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Developing and delivering a sales strategy that meets company objectives for revenue and profit growth

The Candidate:

  • Previous experience in Building & Construction industry
  • You must have a positive, confident phone manner with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage and retain business
  • You are creative in finding new leads to talk to, has a resilient attitude and is results-focused
  • You work well in a team and can build relationships internally as well as externally.
  • Flexible and adaptable to handle high pressure and stressful situations, excellent time management, accompanied by a high level of resilience
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experienced in using CRM software
  • A passion for sales experience in generating new business.
