Our client is an Australian business specializing in nationwide transportation and logistics with multiple offices across the country. They require a highly qualified Warehouse Manager to join their team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity within a successful company which offers long-term career opportunities and personal growth. This is a full-time position.

The Role: 

Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager with extensive warehouse and/or supply chain management experience, to drive and support our current team and oversee the warehouse operations. The potential candidate will have experience in third-party logistics warehouse operations for multiple clients and freight operations.

  • Provide ongoing evaluation of processes and seek to maximise and maintain efficiencies
  • Develop and review policies and standard operating procedures, ensuring integrity of the operation and quality service standards are maintained
  • Complete and oversee the daily administrative requirements of the warehouse operations
  • Ensure WHS, compliance and relevant legislations across warehouse and loading dock facilities are maintained
  • Lead and develop team members

The Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven people management and leadership skills with the ability to build a collaborative working environment 
  • Experience in a management/supervisory role, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication skills and time management
  • Hands-on, solutions oriented and ability to take ownership and accountability for actions and work as part of the team
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Self-motivated and must have a strong work ethic
  • Resilience and ability to work under pressure
