The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join the team in Canberra. As a Pediatric Speech Pathologist, you will utilise your clinical skills & knowledge to manage a diverse caseload of early intervention and paediatric clients. You will work with children presenting a range of communication needs and developmental delays.
Requirements:
- COMPLETED Tertiary qualification and Registration.
- NSW Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
- ACT Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain).
- Current driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team. Being a team player is crucial!
- Outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team.
- A desire to make a real difference within the community.
- Experience within pediatrics.
- A passion and willingness to learn from a range of holistic, and other health practitioners.
- A willingness to improve on your clinical practice – including the ability to self-reflect and a focus on developing skills in areas you’re not familiar with.

The Company
My client is an evidence-based practice in Brisbane with a focus in providing therapy services to children. They are mostly NDIS, but also have some private clients – and mostly clinic based but also conduct some kindy visits – no home visits unless clinician deems it necessary.
The Role
An opportunity is now available to join the team as a Speech Pathologist. The expected KPI for a FTE is 23 billable hours a week. If you’re looking for a fulfilling role with a great workplace culture in a close-knit team, this is the opportunity for you.
The candidate
The successful applicant should have the following skills/experience/qualities:
- Minimum 3 years experience as Speech Pathologist
- Previous experience working with NDIS participants in either a clinical or community environment will be good
- Working With Children Check
