The Company

Gateway Synergy is looking for an Infrastructure Architect on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals.
They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.
  
The Role & Requirements 

As an Infrastructure Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping
the future of secure government cloud solutions, leveraging
cutting-edge open source technologies. Your primary responsibility
will be to ensure the highest levels of security, reliability, and
scalability in classified environments. Collaborating with
cross-functional teams, you will design and deliver Infrastructure
products and solutions tailored to the unique requirements of
government clients, utilising industry-leading technologies such as
OpenStack and Ceph. Additionally, you will be responsible for
fostering a culture of improvement, mentoring your team to adopt
best practices and stay ahead of the latest advancements in cloud
technology.

The candidate requirements 

• Passionate about serving your country in the digital realm and
  making a significant impact on cyber defence, you bring expertise in infrastructure engineering, open source technologies, and secure government cloud environments.
• As a creative problem solver, you possess the ability to develop scalable solutions that address complex challenges.
• With excellent communication and leadership skills, you foster collaboration, nurture talent within your team, and vstrive for excellence in all aspects of your work

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
