Position : Senior Explosive Ordnance Engineer

The Role
As a Senior EO Engineer within MEOSPO, your role stands as a linchpin in advancing the success of established acquisition projects. Your primary focus centres around the development, integration, and management of weapon systems, particularly concerning Tomahawk missiles. This strategic role demands your expertise in guided weapons engineering, making a substantial contribution to the maritime and munitions capabilities of the ADF.
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Enhancing ADF’s guided weapon capabilities. You will lead the development of comprehensive weapon plans, meticulously aligning them with policy, guidance, and best practices. Your influence extends to shaping integration activities, schedules, and plans for platforms, ensuring rigorous attention to technical risk, dependencies, schedule, cost, and Fundamental Inputs to Capability. By actively participating in financial management, risk assessment, and strategic support, you will be instrumental in maintaining project coordination, including the upkeep of essential documentation. Additionally, your insights will be crucial in the development of future capabilities, such as Pre-Gate 0 advice and document preparation, all while collaborating closely with Navy stakeholders.
The Candidate:
Essential criteria
- Relevant higher degree qualifications in Engineering or related fields and more than 8 years of industry experience.
- Senior experience in guided weapons engineering with a solid foundation.
- NV1 security clearance essential.
