Position : Foreign Military Sales Engineer

Location : Perth

The Role
As an Engineer within MEOSPO-W, a leading sustainment organisation supporting diverse ADF weapon systems, your responsibilities encompass a range of critical tasks, including facilitating Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, providing indispensable support to testing and trial activities, and ensuring the development and maintenance of essential documentation. Your engagement extends to coordination, contribution, and collaboration across various operational aspects, underlining your significance in optimising weapon system functionality and stakeholder communication.

The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Actively manage and support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, contributing to the efficacy of these vital initiatives. Your role extends to essential test and trial activities, ensuring the seamless execution of these processes. You will play a crucial part in the preparation, review, clearance, and upkeep of key product documentation, highlighting your meticulous attention to detail. Attending meetings, briefings, and workshops, your specialist engineering advice and input will be instrumental in shaping decisions related to financial management, scheduling, spares forecasting, and risk mitigation. Your active participation in engaging with weapon system stakeholders will contribute to resolving complex issues and preparing informative material for governmental updates.

The Candidate:
Essential criteria

• Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience.
• Foundation in specialist engineering, particularly within guided weapons engineering.
• NV1 security clearance essential.
