The Position
This role is for a passionate and strategic national sales leader with a proven track record of building and developing great sales teams. The main focuses of this role are the responsibilities for coaching and upskilling a state-based team, as well as driving a positive and performance-based culture.
You will also be responsible for overseeing several major national accounts whilst ensuring the smooth and effective management of the national distribution office.
This is a strategic and tactical leadership role focusing on lifting team capability, ensuring the continued growth of market share, and driving maintenance of customer satisfaction across the National business
- Lead, coach and manage the state-based sales team
- Implement proven sales methodologies to help upskill the team & drive increased performance
- Oversee sales cycles, margins, pipeline, call visits & revenue for your team
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers for the purpose of securing and extending existing business
- Active involvement in key negotiations & tenders
- Develop and implement systems that monitor the extent to which your branch is delivering the service, products and price required to meet and exceed customer requirements
- Ensure timely interventions when standards fail to meet requirements
- Ultimately be responsible for the P&L of the states
- Proven sales leadership experience with a passion for coaching motivating & training salespeople via demonstrated methods
