Position : Multiple Cloud Software Engineers

Location : Melbourne

Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Cloud Software Engineers contractors for a government department. An exciting opportunity is open for various roles for a rapidly growing project. Be part of a team that makes meaningful changes and improves Australian lives. 

The Role:

• Participate in requirements analysis
• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Write clean, maintainable and scalable code
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code
• Assist with operations support duties
• Work collaboratively with team members
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve and maintain existing software

The Candidate:
Essential criteria
Experience developing and delivering enterprise web applications utilising established development tools such as:

• .NET
• JavaScript / Typescript
• Microsoft Web API / REST Architecture
• SQL / Entity Framework
• CI/CD Practices

Desirable Skills:
  

• Experience with Cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with Azure Devops pipeline automation
• Experience with PowerShell
• Experience with Git
• Test automation
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
