Gateway Synergy is looking for a Military Programs Manager on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals. They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.

The Role & Requirements 
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in recruiting, integrating, and supporting veterans as they transition into civilian careers within our organisation. Your expertise and leadership will be invaluable in building a strong and cohesive team of professionals who share a passion for excellence and a commitment to the defence of our nation.

Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and hire qualified veterans from diverse backgrounds. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including People & Culture and hiring managers, to ensure a smooth onboarding process for veterans and facilitate their successful integration into the organisation. Provide ongoing mentorship, guidance, and support to veterans, addressing any challenges they may face during their transition to civilian employment. Establish and maintain strong relationships with ADF networks, veteran support organisations, and government agencies to stay informed about available resources and best practices in veteran integration and support. Develop and deliver training and workshops to educate employees and management about the unique skills and contributions veterans bring to the organisation and foster a culture of inclusion and support. Monitor and evaluate the success of veteran integration and support initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

The candidate requirements 

• We are looking for an experienced and dedicated former Australian Defence Force (ADF) member at the equivalent ranks of Lieutenant Colonel, Commander, or Wing Commander to join our team as the Veteran Integration and Military Programs Manager.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
