Gateway Synergy is looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals. They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.

The Role & Requirements 
As our Technical Recruiter, you will source, screen, and select top-tier talent for roles in Cloud and cyber defence. Collaborating with hiring managers, you’ll gain insights into each role, crafting compelling job descriptions that attract the right talent. Your professional network will grow, as you foster relationships with potential candidates and industry contacts, utilising innovative recruitment tactics. Leveraging your understanding of the IT and cyber defence industry, you’ll contribute to our strategic staffing needs, ensuring the successful negotiation and closing of candidates.

The candidate requirements 

• You’re driven by the mission to support Australia’s cyber defence through recruiting top IT talent.
• Ready to apply your extensive experience and knowledge in technical recruiting, you thrive in the dynamic, evolving landscape of the cyber defence industry.
• With a firm grasp on IT industry roles and skills, you’re proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems and innovative recruitment technologies.
• Your interpersonal skills are second to none, and your negotiation prowess has seen you successfully close candidates time and time again.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
