The Company
Gateway Synergy is looking for a Security Administrator on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals. They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.

The Role & Requirements 
Work with a committed and well regarded security team. Overseeing the protection of classified technology and cloud infrastructures – strengthening Australia’s cyber defence. Help drive the implementation of robust security policies, procedures, and systems to safeguard classified environments of national significance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, proactively addressing risks and ensuring the utmost data integrity and security. Be a stakeholder in development of our security architecture and have the ability to influence key design decisions. You will be responsible for the day to day operations and health of our cloud security systems.

The candidate requirements 

• Passionate about serving your country in the digital arena, committed to making a significant impact on Australia’s cyber defence.
• Ready to embrace hands-on experiences, defying the work-from-home trend in pursuit of meaningful action.
• A security administration professional with a good foundation in security principles, protocols, and best practices.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
