The Company
Gateway Synergy is looking for a Network Operations Engineer on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals. They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.

The Role & Requirements 
Working within the operations team to manage, maintain, and enhance network infrastructure supporting crucial cloud regions. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and troubleshoot advanced network solutions in highly classified environments of national significance. Leverage your expertise to optimise network performance, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability in the face of ever-evolving cyber threats. Share your knowledge and experience, mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

The candidate requirements 

• Driven to serve your country in the digital realm, committed to making a significant impact on Australia’s cyber defence.
• Eager to embrace hands-on experiences, defying the work-from-home trend in pursuit of meaningful action.
• A seasoned network admin with a strong background in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, as well as a keen interest in security.
• A reliable team player, dedicated to collaborating with colleagues, sharing your expertise, and persevering until every challenge is overcome

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
