The Company
Gateway Synergy is looking for an Infrastructure Operations Engineer on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals. They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.

The Role & Requirements 
Contribute to the operational Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team through technical excellence, supporting vital government technology in highly classified environments. Focus on reliability, scalability, and performance, driving the delivery of mission-critical cloud solutions. Tackle complex problems, collaborating with your team to uncover and address the root causes of daunting challenges. Enable customers to achieve their mission by providing secure and robust cloud infrastructure.

The candidate requirements 

• Passionate about serving your country in the digital realm, making a meaningful difference in Australia’s cyber defence.
• Eager to embrace hands-on experiences, defying the work-from-home trend in pursuit of purposeful action.
• A Linux maestro with a keen interest in security, committed to delivering top-tier results.
• A reliable team player, dedicated to collaborating with colleagues and persisting until every challenge is overcome.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
