Position : IT System Performance Engineer

Location : Melbourne

Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced IT System Performance Engineering contractor with Defence systems experience to work on the various stages of the project lifecycle, for an Aerospace project to be disclosed only after proper screening of candidates and suitable to meet the Department of Defence criteria.

The Role

• Ensuring system performance and robustness
• Improve the reliability of the system
• Flag down potential issues with the system
• Design effective tests to check system performance and stability
• Identify goals and requirements
• Understand roles of reliability and capacity
• Propose tools, implements and automate report on stability and performance of the System overall

  
About You

• Knowledge of LINUX/Windows Operating Systems, Java Virtual Machine memory analysis and tuning, C/C++ executable memory leak detection tool
• Skilled in JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Ansible
• Strong scripting skills in Python
• SFIA level 3, 4, and 5 eligible to apply
• A minimum of current baseline security clearance

  
What the role offers

• Day rate between $1200 – $2000 per day for the right candidates
• 12 months contracting role with extensions
• Below the line role
