Position : Storage Engineer

Location : ACT

Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Storage Engineer contractor for a government department. An exciting opportunity is open for IT roles for a rapidly growing 6-year project. Be part of a team that makes meaningful changes and improves Australian lives. 

The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Produce designs, design patterns, configurations, and documentation in accordance with industry standards for storage and backup system
• Perform maintenance, monitoring, and administration functions for SAN and backup systems
• Implement SAN infrastructure/architecture (FC HBA’s, fabrics, SAN’s, etc.) and Cisco MDS SAN switches
• Perform maintenance and administration of VMware virtual SAN
• As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team

The Candidate:
Essential criteria

• Experience with a similar role, preferably in a government department
• Possesses an NV1 Security clearance or higher
