Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Software Developer contractor for a government department. An exciting opportunity is open for exciting roles at a rapidly growing 6-year project. Be part of a team that makes meaningful changes and improves Australian lives. 

The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Research, design, implement and manage software 
• Develop and conduct test and evaluation of software
• Identify areas for modification in existing software and take appropriate action to rectify any shortfalls
• Write and implement effective code, in accordance with technical direction and best practice
• Determine operational practicality of software and develop quality assurance procedures 
• Deploy software tools, processes and metrics
• As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team

The Candidate:
Essential criteria

• Experience with a similar role, preferably in a government department
• Possesses an NV1 Security clearance or higher
