Position : Network and Systems Engineer

Location : Melbourne

Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Network and Systems engineers contractor with Defence systems experience to work on the various stages of the project lifecycle, for an Aerospace Systems Division of the Department of Defence.

The Role:

• Develop useful System Dashboard to monitor the system
• Network and Security hardening
• Investigate Operational Needs, Critical Performance Issues, and interoperability requirements
• Establish and evaluate test plans, procedure, engineering documentation

  
The Candidate:

• Linux/ZABBIX and Linux/Windows Operating System
• Skilled in JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Ansible
• Strong scripting skills, especially in Python
• Linux (Redhat 8) Network and Security hardening
• SFIA level 3, 4, and 5 eligible to apply
• A minimum of current baseline security clearance

  
What the role offers:

• $1200 to $2000/day contracting rate for the right candidate
• 12 months contracting role with extensions
• Below the line role
