Position : Data Engineer
Location : Brisbane
Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Data Engineer contractor for a government department. An exciting opportunity is open for exciting roles at a rapidly growing 6-year project. Be part of a team that makes meaningful changes and improves Australian lives.
This is an opportunity to relocate to Canberra to work in an exciting govt department. The role will involve being sponsored to receive TS PV
The Role:
The role will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Design and build data warehouses, databases and data lakes
- Monitor and conduct troubleshooting activities
- Implement data optimization methods and scaling of data storage
- Design data models
- Conduct diagnostic procedures to identify system improvements
- Support, plan and conduct test and evaluation activities for deliverable systems and products.
- As required, undertake any other tasks as requested by the Technical team
The Candidate:
Essential criteria
- Experience with a similar role, preferably in a government department
- Possesses an NV1 Security clearance or higher
