Position : Cybersecurity Engineer

Location : Melbourne

Gateway Synergy is looking for highly experienced Cybersecurity Engineering contractor with Defence systems experience to work on the various stages of the project lifecycle for an Aerospace Systems Divisions Department of Defence.

The Role

• Implement Linux/Windows security guidelines into the Devops tiger team pipeline
• Develop tools to guarantee and demonstrate the security posture
• Network and Firewalls: CISCO secure configuration and automation with python skills
• Ability to jump in into a complex network architecture and secure it

  
The Candidate

• Understands high level Security guides from Defence environment, LINUX/Windows OS, Secure Linux, MS Active Directory, Python scripting, DevSECops
• Skilled in JIRA, Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Ansible
• Strong scripting skills in Python
• Linux (Redhat 8) Network and Security hardening
• SFIA level 3, 4, and 5 eligible to apply
• A minimum of current baseline security clearance

  
What the role offers

• $1200 – $2000/day contracting rate for the right candidate
• 12 months contracting role with extensions
• Below the line role
