Position : User Researcher
Location : Sydney
The Role
Outstanding opportunity for a driven professional to join a government department in an IT capacity. A passionate, driven professional with a positive attitude and a strong desire to succeed. As the successful candidate you will collaborate with other researchers to conduct studies that help understand user needs, behaviours, and preferences to inform product and service design and development. This includes planning and conducting user research studies using appropriate methods, analysing research data, collaborating with stakeholders and helping to create and maintain a user-centred design process.
The candidate requirements
- Qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience conducting user research
- strong analytical skills and a passion for user-centred design
Desirable skills and experience
- Understanding of government procurement practices and working in an Agile team is helpful but not essential
