The Company

Gateway Synergy is looking for an Application Operations Lead on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals.
They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.
  
The Role & Requirements 

Lead the 24/7 operational management of an array of Vault
mission-critical tools (SOC, NOC, CMDB, ITSM, MDM, Identity, VDI,
PaaS, SaaS), supporting the backbone of classified cloud regions.
Work in highly classified environments of national significance,
engaging with the next generation of government technology. Focus
on reliability, situational awareness, and data management,
anticipating challenges and driving proactive solutions. Coach your
team to uncover the root cause of complex problems, enabling the
operations team to safeguard and support customers. Collaborate
with product owners.

The candidate requirements 

• Passionate about serving your country in the digital realm,

  defence.
• Ready to embrace hands-on experiences, defying the
  work-from-home trend in pursuit of meaningful action.
• A skilled application admin with an interest in security, integration and open source.
• A trusted leader, nurturing a close-knit team and persevering
  until every challenge is conquered.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
