The Company

Gateway Synergy is looking for an Application Architect on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals.
They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.
  
The Role & Requirements 

Design and architect cutting-edge applications for an array of 
mission-critical tools (SOC, NOC, CMDB, ITSM, MDM, Identity, VDI,
PaaS, SaaS) that underpin classified cloud regions. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to develop and integrate innovative solutions
within highly classified environments of national significance,
utilising the latest government technology. Evaluate and optimise
application performance, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security
while addressing emerging challenges and needs. Mentor and guide
your team in the design and development of applications, sharing
your expertise and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The candidate requirements

• An expert in application architecture and design, with a deep understanding of security, integration, and open-source
  technology.
• A creative thinker with the ability to develop efficient,
  scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of complex systems.
• A strong communicator and technical leader, dedicated to fostering collaboration and nurturing talent within your team.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
