The Company
Gateway Synergy is looking for a Commercial Manager on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals. They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.

The Role & Requirements 
The Commercial Manager will lead and manage all the commercial aspects of the engagement to ensure clear and successful commercial outcomes for all parties, partners and suppliers included. You will have full responsibility for the procurement and contract lifecycle process for the program, managing the strategic engagements and development of operational sourcing, contracting and supplier management strategies and plans whilst leveraging your skills to maintain enduring relationships.

The candidate requirements 

• You have deep experience in the establishment, negotiation and monitoring of large and complex contracts including documentation, tendering, performance monitoring, maintenance of evaluation frameworks and administration of contracts.
• You love driving commercial outcomes, protecting profitability and mitigating commercial risk, but always work to ensure mutually positive outcomes for all parties.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
