The Company

Gateway Synergy is looking for an Network Engineer on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals.
They are located all over the East Coast and are interested in highly qualified individuals interested in growing with them.
  
The Role & Requirements 

Utilise Mellanox Spine and Leaf switching for high-performance,
low-latency networking. Implement advanced routing protocols like
BGP and OSPF for efficient data transfer. Employ VLANs and VXLANs for network segmentation and virtualization. Implement network security measures such as ACLs and firewalls to protect sensitive data. Configure Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritise critical traffic. Monitor and troubleshoot network performance using tools like SNMP and NetFlow.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
