Gateway Synergy is looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Lead on behalf of our client. Our client is a rapidly growing company in the Defence industry, with an urgent need for exceptional professionals.

The Role & Requirements 

Lead the development and implementation of a secure government
cloud infrastructure built on cutting-edge open source technology.
Drive innovation and ensure the highest levels of security, reliability, and scalability within TOP SECRET classified environments of
national significance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to
design and deliver customised infrastructure solutions that meet the
evolving needs of government clients. Foster a culture of continuous
improvement, mentoring and guiding your team in the adoption of
best practices and the latest advancements in cloud technology

The candidate requirements 

• Passionate about serving your country in the digital realm,
  committed to making a significant impact on Australia’s cyber
  defence.
• An expert in infrastructure engineering and open source technology, with a deep understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• A creative problem solver with the ability to develop efficient, scalable solutions that meet the complex needs of secure government cloud environments.
• A strong communicator and leader, dedicated to fostering collaboration, nurturing talent within your team, and driving excellence in every aspect of your work.

Security
This is a security assessed position. The successful candidate must have the ability to attain required Federal Government security clearance.

Other
The role may require national travel, overnight stays and liaison with partners and suppliers.
