The Role 

  • Provide a high standard of customer service 
  • Respond promptly to waiting customers and queues 
  • Ability to operate EFT and handle cash with minimum transaction errors
  • Maintain and apply a working knowledge of store procedures 
  • Solve customer problems where possible, and refer the more complex to higher level staff in a timely & efficient manner 
  • Maintain and exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of current store products and services to existing and potential customers 
  • Cross sell On Duty products and services where appropriate. 
  • Promote products by demonstration and instruction 
  • Ensure products are supplied in alignment with customer orders 
  • Follow up on stock orders as required 
  • Undertake store and stock housekeeping activities 
  • Identify any potential hazards to senior management
  • Any other duties as directed by the Store Manager or their designate from time to time

Requirements 

  • Minimum 2 years in a customer service role 
  • Cash handling/EFT 
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone and as part of a team 
  • Demonstrated proficient computer skills 
  • Basic administration skills 
  • A current, clear police check is required before application will be accepted
  • Military experience would be highly regarded

The Role 

In this position you will be responsible for the automation of all manual tasks for the building and deployment of applications and infrastructure releases for all Development and Infrastructure teams, improving reliability and performance of software systems and infrastructure and working with cross-functional teams to build and improve software, services and development production readiness and maturity.

  • Follow company Development and SRE processes and standards.
  • Work with Development and Infrastructure teams to automate applications and infrastructure solutions.
  • Influence other teams and broader Engineering groups in adopting SRE best practices.
  • Support and improve continuous integration, and release and deployment processes using cutting-edge container, virtualization and automation techniques.
  • Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning activities across all environment infrastructure.
  • Automate developer operations and processes where possible.
  • Develop, maintain and optimise automated deployment code for development, test, staging and production environments.
  • Implement and manage monitoring and health checks for infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving development, test, staging and production environments.
  • Troubleshoot and quickly resolve escalated software and infrastructure related issues and challenges.

Requirements 

  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
  • Experience using and configuring continuous integration tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Puppet
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Complete confidence in using the Linux command line interface
  • Understanding and efficiency in collaboration and open communication
  • Experience in automating and streamlining operations and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated and driven
  • Experience working with at least one scripting language such as Bash, Per, Python, Ruby or NodeJS
  • Knowledge of containerisation, specifically Docker
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools (Docker, Hashicorp Vault, Rancher, Gitlab, Vagrant, Ansible)

Desirable

  • Knowledge of microservice and service-oriented architecture
  • Expertise in a container orchestration platform such as Docker Swarm, Rancher 1.6 and Kubernetes
  • Expertise in designing and building secure Docker Images
  • Expertise with database replication techniques and implementations
  • Experience using and managing PKI environments
  • Experience working with and designing secure, scalable and efficient architecture
  • Knowledge of how to set up virtualization platforms – VMWare Suite (vCloud and vCenter), KVM
  • Experience working with centralised logging
  • Experience working BIND DNS
  • Experience automating networking equipment
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, New Relic
  • Expertise in configuration and management of database services such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra and Elasticsearch

The Role & Requirements 

In this position you will be part of the Compute and Storage team. You will be responsible for managing the cloud hosting technologies within a variety of security domains. You will be working with market leading infrastructure technologies and will be designing and recommending best of breed solutions both internally and direct to the customers.

  • Monitor, respond and manage alerts generated by both human and automated sources.
  • Actively identify areas where administrative or operational efficiencies can be improved.
  • Assist both internal and external clients or customers to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents or service requests.
  • Assist customers in the design and development of solutions on the IaaS platform.
  • Liaise with vendor technical support to resolve or mitigate bugs in software or hardware.
  • Repair and replace hardware.
  • Create reports based on service uptime, resource utilisation, security events, and other common key metrics.
  • Participate and contribute to the organisation of company commercial and social events.
  • Comply with company Policies and Procedures

The candidate requirements 
  

  • Experience installing, configuring, and cabling physical servers, storage and server switching equipment
  • Experience with storage protocols such as S3, FCP, iSCSI, FCOE, NVME, NFS, SMB and CIFS
  • Experience managing Storage Arrays such as Pure Storage FlashArray and FlashBlade
  • Experience managing a Cisco UCS environment or similar
  • Experience with Enterprise Backup solutions such as Veeam
  • Familiarity with other common IT technologies like operating systems, databases, hypervisors, automation, and cloud computing and their dependencies on networking infrastructure.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to obtain and analyse information from varying sources and rationalise conclusions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and/or language to suit the audience.
  • Ability to foster productive working relationships with colleagues, vendors, partners, and customers.
  • Able to work both independently and within a team. 

Desirable

  • Awareness of Industry certification frameworks such as ISO27001 or the Australian Government Information Security Manual and their application on networking infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
