The Position
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team starting immediately. This role will manage estimating and reporting expectations across the business.
The Candidate
Key capabilities include:
- Generate well-informed and precise reports, quotations, and estimates, while aiding in construction planning as necessary.
- Verify that all supplied data adheres to present industry norms and structures.
- Sustain a solid understanding of prevailing market prices.
- Analyze, interpret, and assess various technical papers, including pertinent regulatory statutes in the Building & Construction sector.
- Guarantee fulfillment of client and internal performance metrics and service level agreements during the claims procedure.
- Communicate efficiently with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure clear project comprehension and precise cost estimation.
Requirements:
- Preference for tertiary education in Building and Construction.
- Extensive experience in tendering projects, encompassing repairs, fit-outs, and new constructions.
- Thorough understanding of market rates and prerequisites
- Capability to adhere to stringent timelines.
- Strong abilities in organisation, time management, and prioritisation to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate a readiness to learn, develop new skills, adapt to diverse environments, and progress within the company.
